¡HOLA, soy Ashley Villarreal Fleeman!
Soy una terapeuta de habla bilingüe en Español.
I am a Spanish-speaking speech therapist that is ASHA certified and ABESPA state licensed. I earned my Masters of Science degree in Speech Pathology from Harding University. As a speech therapist who shares the cultural and linguistic background of the population I serve, I take pride in providing access to services in my very own Spanish-speaking community.

After moving to Springdale, Arkansas when I was six years old, I quickly learned what Selena Quintanilla’s dad meant when he said, “We have to be more Mexican than the Mexicans and more American than the Americans, both at the same time! It’s exhausting.” I have lived in both worlds my whole life, and I’ve often found myself feeling doubtful of my identity in both.
Eventually, I’ve learned to love all parts of me equally - that is the impetus behind ¡Amigos! We are here to love and accept your child no matter who they are while celebrating the diversity of your family no matter what. Thankfully, I’ve found a husband who is not only a pediatric occupational therapist, but one who shares the same passion I do for serving the Latinx community.
Después de mudarnos a Springdale, Arkansas cuando tenía seis años, rápidamente aprendí lo que el papá de Selena Quintanilla quiso decir cuando dijo: “¡Tenemos que ser más mexicanos que los mexicanos y más estadounidenses que los estadounidenses, ambos al mismo tiempo! Es agotador." He vivido en ambos mundos toda mi vida, me he encontrado dudoso de mi identidad en ambos.
Con el tiempo, he aprendido a amar todas las partes de mí por igual, ese es el ímpetu detrás de ¡Amigos! Estamos aquí para amar y aceptar a su hijo sin importar quiénes sean mientras celebramos la diversidad de su familia sin importar nada. Afortunadamente, encontré un esposo que no solo es terapeuta ocupacional pediátrico, sino que comparte la misma pasión que yo por servir a la comunidad latinx.

Soy un terapeuta ocupacional pediátrico.
I am a licensed and registered pediatric occupational therapist. I earned my Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas. While not completely fluent in Spanish yet, I do know un poquito (a little). I love trying to fix things and have a passion for environmental consciousness. My hobbies include watching soccer, playing hockey and video games, reading comic books, and eating junk food - all of which have enabled me to be a great therapist to kids of all ages!

Together we have over 12 years of pediatric therapy experience and have been serving both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking clients since 2017. We met while attending the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas. Central Arkansas is home! Both of our children, Mia and Noah were born in Little Rock. We share a love for fútbol, coffee, and spending time with friends and family. On the weekends you will spot us out cheering on our local Little Rock Rangers, sipping coffee, dining at our local favorite spots, or going on adventures with our little ones.
Juntos tenemos más de 12 años de experiencia en terapia pediátrica y hemos atendido a clientes de habla hispana e inglesa desde 2017. Nos conocimos mientras asistíamos la Universidad de Central Arkansas en Conway, Arkansas. ¡El centro de Arkansas es nuestro hogar! Nuestros dos hijos, Mia y Noah, nacieron en Little Rock. Compartimos el amor por el fútbol, el café y pasar tiempo con amigos y familiares. Los fines de semana nos verá animando a nuestros Little Rock Rangers Futbol, tomando café, cenando en nuestros lugares favoritos locales o yendo de aventuras con nuestros pequeños.
